Our rates vary according to the skill required in the job and the time of day or night that the work is carried out. We are competitive though and offer fixed price jobs and jobs charged by the hour and, if it is a large job taking more than a day or so, then we will provide you with an accurate quote. Our general "Handyman" hourly rate is £35 for the first hour, then £25 for the subsequent hours, We normally ask that a minimum 2 hour slot is covered (£60) to allow for setting up and travel but may be flexible if you are near to our last job. A two hour slot can often be a blessing in disguise as there are often other bits and pieces that need attending to, even if it is moving furniture, pulling heavy itmes to/from a loft, chopping trees/bushes, unblocking sinks, mould removal, drive or path jet washing or even household cleaning...... So please take advantage of us while we are there and get your moneys worth... The hourly rate includes screws, nails, adhesives, small amounts of touch up paint, small amounts of fillers, plaster and general knick knaks etc. Materials such as timber, plasterboard, plumbing parts and building materials etc are charged as extras and are agreed before work starts. Our daily rate is £200 with a £110 half day rate (plus materials). We are currently not VAT registered due to not crossing the VAT threshold in annual turnover (and as such we do not add VAT onto our service, vat on materials is included in the price from our trade suppliers) but please check before booking. Recommend us to a friend and recieve either a free half hour next time you book us or a £10 Marks and Spencers Voucher. (terms apply) We accept cheque, bank transfer (from telephone or online) or cash. We regret that, for the time being, we cannot accept credit cards or any online payment such as paypal. Our company drive is to grow not only geographically but also in terms of public awareness, in order to build a loyal customer base with the potential for continuous growth. With this in mind, we are only too aware of the need for keen pricing. Check out competitors online, some of whom charge as much as £60 per hour.
